AVON

What: Red, White & Boom with the Lake Erie Crushers

AVON LAKE

What: Bicentennial Jubilee Celebration, a daylong event starting with relaxing session of doga (dog yoga) and ending with fireworks

When: July 4, Noon: Doga (Dog Yoga); 1 p.m., dog parade & pageant, food Trucks; 3 p.m., balloon animals, face painting, magicians, jugglers, bubble fun, bouncy slides, obstacle course, bungee bounce, carnival games, sno-cones; 3:30 p.m., Jungle Terry Animal Show; 4 p.m., music by Says She, pony rides; 5:30 p.m., music by Anne E. DeChant; 6 p.m., stilt walkers; 6:45 p.m., Honor Guard, birthday cake; 7:15 p.m., music by  Disco Inferno; 10 p.m., fireworks

BAY VILLAGE

What: Bay Days – Live music, fireworks, vintage baseball game, carnival rides, children’s bike/trike/wagon parade

LAKEWOOD

What: Parade, concert, fireworks

When: July 4; 10-11:30 a.m., Nicholson Drive; booth events at Lakewood Park; 7-9:30 p.m. concert with Lakewood Project; dark, fireworks

NORTH OLMSTED

What: Boom! Festival & Fireworks, food trucks, live music, street performers, face painting, balloon artists.

When: June 30; 7-10 p.m.

Where: Great Northern Mall, 4954 Great Northern Blvd.

NORTH RIDGEVILLE

What: Party in the Park, live music from the Southern Cross Band, bounce houses, balloon twisters, food vendors (activities are free; food is for purchase), fireworks

When: July 3; 7-9:30 p.m., party; dark, fireworks

Where: South Central Park, 7565 Avon Belden Road

Cost: Free

WESTLAKE

What: Annual 4th of July Parade and Fireworks

When: July 4 10 a.m.-dusk

Where: Clague Park

More info: Parade begins at Lee Burneson Middle School, 2260 Dover Center Road, moves south to Hilliard Boulevard, and east to Clague Park. Ceremonies begin at Clague Park entrance at 11:15 a.m. with patriotic music, readings and presentations to parade winners.

Aquatic Center features face painters and balloon artists 10 a.m-noon. DJ at 1 p.m. along with games and prizes. Admission is for pass holders and their guests.

30th Annual Classic Car Show 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dog show 12:30-1:30 p.m. Martial Arts demonstration, 12:30-1:30 p.m. For details, contact Bryan Kissling, 440-333-1049

Food vendors near Clague Cabin 4 p.m., DJ Eazy will be at Gazebo, 6 p.m., Fireworks at dusk.
